Got to the shop early, unannounced, only to find the owner's daughter (or whomever she may be) just getting back from taking the car for a joyride. They said it wouldn't be ready until later. That was a blatant lie.

I understand a mechanic having to drive the car around the block to check things out, but the girl from the office with the shopping bags in her hands as she gets out of the car that they said wouldn't be ready until later? Psssshhh. That's freaking shady. And she had the guiltiest, most obvious look of "oh crap I got caught" on her face.

And the service "technicians" barely seem to know what they are doing.

No thank you. We won't be back. I will not only not recommend it. I will affirmatively urge people to avoid it and go elsewhere.

The positives are that they are mostly nice, inexpensive with a coupon (you get what you pay for) and have massage chairs in the waiting area. I went here because of a Yelp coupon for an alignment. I returned several times over nearly a year, with varying results. Basically, I felt they didn't really know what they were doing, did a mediocre job and tended toward pressure tactics to boost sales. Specifically, they forgot to rotate the tires, and when it came back they neglected to change the tire pressure, leaving my front tires over-inflated 14 psi , and rear under-inflated 14 psi. They also never seem to get the steering wheel straight the first time. The main problem was that my car pulled to the left, but it wasn't until I had it in for the 3rd or 4th time that they said it just couldn't be done - although they didn't seem to be clear as to why, and certainly weren't able to explain it to me. I finally took it to my Mercedes specialist who immediately knew what it was, as it's a fairly common issue with my car. The last straw was the manager telling me one of my tires was "about to fly apart," to scare me into buying tires from them. I know more than a little about cars, and although the tires had been wearing unevenly, that's not uncommon on German cars and they were all undamaged and still had a little tread left. None were worn down to the belts, which is when one might argue that a blowout is very possible. Yes, they needed to be replaced. No, they were not dangerous and were nowhere near "flying apart." Additionally, I'd already told the service advisor that I had a set of new tires from another vehicle I was going to have mounted. They wanted to charge more than twice what another tire shop wanted to do the job. I won't be back.
